Kate founded Baum & Baum in 1983, and has over thirty years of experience providing tax and accounting services. She began her accounting career at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells in their small business division.
Kate specializes in financial reporting, forecasting and development of strategies to assist businesses and individuals to define and achieve their long term goals. Her experience in business management, taxation and financial planning enable her to guide business owners and high net worth individuals to an understanding of how the decisions they make today impact the value of their business and estates.
Kate received her B.S. in Accounting from Fairfield University and she is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kate has served on the Fairfield University Alumni Board, is also past Treasurer for The Kennedy Child Care Center and past President and Treasurer of the NYC Chapter of American Society of Woman Accountants
